Godse. Bose escapes from hospital and finds out the truth behind Godse.
In the process he will come to know the shocking facts. Enjoy Lion to
findout the mystery of Godse and Bose.
Performances:
Nandamuri BalaKrishna fails to attracts in both the roles as Godse and
Bose with looks. Asusual his dialogue delivery is good. He worked hard
for his dancing moves and also stunts.
Trisha is good looking and Radhika Apte has no scope to perform. Both the actresses are not Upto the mark.
Prakash Raj is wasted with lack of his mark performance as State C.M.
Comedy of Ali, M.S.Narayana, Posani Krishna Murali didn't work out.
Jayasudha, Chandra Mohan, Pradeep Rawat, Adithya Menon,Sravan,Ravi
Prakash, Chalapathi Rao, Indraja, Geetha performed accordingly.
Analysis:
Debut director Satyadeva hasn’t succeeded in making a good movie with
having a good script. He has a good script in his hands and Balakrishna
must have got impressed by the way he narrated it to him. But when it
came to narrating the same on screen, he failed completely. He failed in
screenplay and direction. He failed to show Balayya babu in fresh look
in godse role. From the start to end, director leaves many illogical
scenes and test the patience of viewers. He wasted good performers as he
gave very limited roles. Director fails to impress the audience with
his all elements with good script.
Technical Values:
Mani Sharma’s music is just okay. Songs interrupt the pace of the film.
The background score is not upto the mark as he proficient in this.
Venkat R Prasad's Cinematography is good. Forest fight sequence is
impressive. Editing is not up to the mark as there are many unwanted
scenes. Balayya mark Dialogues are good, but most of dialogues are
lengthy. The Production values of SLV Cinemas are okay.
Positives:
- Few scenes
- Few dialogues
Negatives:
- Balayya look (Godse role)
- Screenplay
- Direction
Final Verdict:
Lion Movie starts with good tempo and then drags with bad comedy scenes
and then goes interesting pace until interval. But second half narration
becomes predictable and boring with unnecessary stunts and bad
screenplay.
Hero Balakrishna's mistake is giving direction chance of commercial mass
movie to satyadeva as he lacks of establishing main lead fresh looks
and performances, direction and screenplay.
Lion movie is for only Balayya mass fans strictly. Lion movie is Director's failure with having good cast and technical support.
